Erin Jones moved to Austin after college and can’t imagine living any place else. She is a founding partner of Mammoth Marketing Group, a national political consulting and communications firm. Erin and her husband Jason are avid travelers and love being amateur foodies and wine enthusiasts. Their very ambitious goal is to travel to at least one new country a year. In their spare time they enjoy everything Austin has to offer, especially its amazing restaurants and live music, and toting their dogs along with them everywhere they can.

My Challenge

Erin’s Big Brave challenge is to scuba dive with sharks.

“I know. It sounds crazy. But I’m somewhat of a thrill seeker and it’s been on my bucket list for years. The kicker is, I’m not even scuba certified. So my Big Brave challenge is to get scuba certified and dive with sharks…with your help! I’m excited about raising awareness for such a powerful organization and in such a unique way. I’m also striving to be a role model for girls out there who might be thinking they can’t do something, or they’re not good enough, or something is too scary and new. Leading by example, we can show them to be Brave. Some things in life may take a little courage, but anything is possible!”
