Volunteer Spotlight

Virginia Lozano has been a wonderful asset to the GENaustin staff! Each week, she has come to the office enthusiastic and energetic about any tasks the staff gives to her. Virginia attends St. Edward's University where she is working towards a Master's degree in Accounting. She has a passion for helping animals, and eventually, upon retirement, would like to open a no-kill rescue clinic for abused and abandoned animals. When asked about her volunteer experience, she said, “I enjoy volunteering at GENaustin because I feel strongly about the cause and focus to empower girls to become strong and independent women!”

Thank you, Virginia, for all your time and dedication!
