We are currently seeking adult co-sponsors to be a coach and mentor to the high school girls by providing constructive feedback to the facilitators weekly and intervening during clubGEN meetings when requested by the high school facilitators. Sponsors must be available to attend a once weekly meeting at their middle school (which may begin as early as 3:30 p.m.) and are asked to commit to volunteering for the entire school year. Sponsors will receive comprehensive training from GENaustin on August 26th, 2006.

Time Commitment: 1 hour per week

The clubGEN Committee meets the third Wednesday of the month to discuss clubGEN and ongoing volunteer opportunities. The committee provides guidance and outside ideas as we refine the clubGEN model. The committee also works to find best practices in working with adolescent girls and uses this information to improve clubGEN.

Duration: Year Round
Location: Fulmore Middle School  map
Time Commitment: 1 - 3 hours per month

On Saturday, August 26th from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., we need volunteers to assist with our Facilitator and Sponsor Training. Assistance is needed for food preparation, set up, registration, monitoring, taking photos, and clean up.

Duration: One Time

Time Commitment: 2 hours (5-2 hour shifts)
