AUSTIN, Texas, December 4, 2002 -- The “Winter Solstice Women’s Artisan Show” will be held at the Lazy Oak Bread and Breakfast, located at 211 W. Live Oak, on Sunday, December 22, 2002 from 1pm-5pm. During this event there will be an art show featuring a variety of local artists as well as a silent auction. Ten percent of the proceeds from the art show will directly benefit Girls Empowerment Network (GENaustin).

GENaustin relies on the generosity of the community to help promote and fund these services. The Lazy Oak Bed and Breakfast has contributed greatly to GENaustin by holding art shows in which GENaustin has been the beneficiary of part of the proceeds.
