Girl Talk educates over 1,000 girls, parents, teachers, and other interested adults annually through presentations, panel discussions, and workshops at schools, community centers and workplaces in central Texas. The series also offers professionals and role models to talk to girls and families on such diverse topics as self-esteem, sexuality, parent-daughter communication, dating, careers, bullying and body image. The series also strives to increase community awareness of the needs of adolescent girls, to introduce girls to women in exciting, non traditional careers and leadership positions and to forge alliances with other organizations to help girls. Most of the programs are free and are open to anyone who is interested in attending.��Pick a month for details on the events

Q: Will GENaustin provide any materials for my presentation?
A: Each speaker is responsible for their own materials, GENaustin will help with A/V equipment and handing out feedback forms.
Q: Can someone present with me?
A: Yes! If you have someone you'd like to present with you, we encourage more than one presenter.
Q: Who is my audience?
A: GENaustin serves girls that are in middle school, however some presentations are geared towards girls and their parents.
Q: Where are the presentations held?
A: Presentations are held at elementary, middle schools and high schools in our area.
