The clubGEN committee has developed and maintains GENaustin's premier afterschool program for middle and high school girls based on the peer-leadership model of education. Designed and led by trained high school teens, clubGEN creates a safe place for girls to come together and exchange their ideas, experiences and opinions regarding social, emotional, educational and public health issues. Girls have the freedom to ask honest questions and receive honest answers from their peers in an environment that promotes leadership skills and social responsibility.
