Our Mission

GEN's mission is to foster healthy self-esteem in girls by engaging them to explore and define their personal values and to build skills that empower them with confidence and courage to make wise choices.

Our Programs

clubGEN

clubGEN is a weekly after-school program for middle school girls led by trained high school girls promoting self-esteem, confidence, and leadership.

oriGENal voice

oriGENal voice educates girls on how to find their voices, to speak up and influence others through advocacy and public policy. Our current focus: Promoting a healthy and tobacco-free lifestyle.

Speaker Series

The Speaker Series provides relevant information about developmental, parenting, and cultural issues affecting adolescent girls by bringing together professionals and role models to talk to youth and families.
