We Are Girls 2012 Recap

On November 3rd 2012, almost 1400 girls, educators, and parents gathered at Austin High School for GENaustin’s fifth annual We Are Girls Conference. The day was kicked off with a keynote presentation by Dr. Robyn Silverman who passionately told girls, “You define you!” Throughout the rest of the day, attendees had over 75 unique workshops to explore, with topics ranging from financial literacy to physical fitness; bullying prevention to diversity awareness.
All in all the day was a huge success. But don’t just take our word for it! Here are some quotes from We Are Girls attendees.

Overheard at the conference
